Newsletter May 2016

Dear Friends of the Antigo Farmers Market,
The vegetables on farms and in gardens are getting restless and want to find their customers; our crafters have been busy all winter to offer you their goods; maple syrup is bottled and will tempt you and who knows what else might be happening at the market which will open Saturday, June 4 at 8 am.

We are still located in the Country Store Parking lot on 700 Superior St. for most of the season, but looking forward to moving to the Pavilion at Peaceful Valley once it is ready to be occupied. We hope to be able to make the transition still later in the season. We will give ample notice once we know the date.
Thanks to all of our sponsors for their donations. Your contributions will help tremendously with our operating expenses like market liability insurance, market manager wages, promotions and advertising.
Please welcome our market manager Hayley Zaverousky, who will be available with help and advice and provide a smooth market operation.

To stimulate your taste buds, here is a simple recipe for a wrap (kids love wraps and it is a perfect way to sneak in a lot of fresh vegetables). You can let your imagination roam freely. See what you can find at the market.
All Wrapped Up
The wrap on the photo contains:
flour tortilla
very thin omelet
prosciutto
avocado
spinach
pan grilled asparagus
green onions
radish sprouts
coarse mustard

Hope to see you at the market on June 4.
