Antigo Farmers Market Opens June 7 

Greetings Everyone
We finally have traded in the brutally cold winter with summer-like temperatures, which unfortunately is accompanied by a record crop of mosquitoes. The good news is: The Summer Market will start on Saturday, June 7 at the Country Store parking lot from 8 am - noon.


Many of our vendors from past years have already signed up and are anxious  
to greet all the market visitors. We are very pleased to announce that  
Hillbilly Hollow from Conover will be joining us this year for the first time,  
offering fresh and aged goat cheese, breads, eggs, chickens, and rabbits.  
Some of you may have already sampled some of their delicious products
at the Antigo Winter Market.

 

Our other newcomer is Caitlyn Zaverousky, this year's market manager.
Please stop by the manager table to welcome her to the market.

 

The market will provide you with all of the ingredients of the Goat Cheese Radish Sandwich
featured below, a perfect, quick lunch after your market visit.

1 slice 9-grain bread

1 oz fresh goat cheese

2 radishes, very thinly sliced

Salt and pepper to taste

Serve with mesclun lettuce
