Winter
has given way to spring much sooner than last year and makes planning
for this year's growing season quite imminent. The first sprouts are
already appearing in seed beds in preparation for the Market beginning
June 6, 2015.
Meanwhile
to bridge the wait until June, a variety of fresh produce is already
available at the Antigo Winter Market, located inside the Antigo Country
Store at 700 Superior St. Antigo.

Goat Cheese Radish Sandwich
Here is a recipe for a simple open-face Sandwich.
Spread plain or flavored goat cheese on a slice of whole grain bread. Drizzle with a little olive oil, season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove roots and most of the greens from the radish, keep a little stub to hold onto. Slice the radish very thinly with a mandolin and layer on the cheese. Serve with salad greens.
